The management of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has released the institution’s 2023/2024 prospectus for prospective students wishing to join either undergraduate or postgraduate programs offered at the institution for the 2023 academic session.

TUT Prospectus is a document that contains courses available, specific course information, accommodation application guide, fees, financial aid for students, admission requirements, and application procedure.

TUT University was established in 2004, TUT is the largest residential university in South Africa.  The University has nine campuses in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo, with two learning sites in Durban and Cape Town.

The University was recently academically ranked (2016 – 2017) as the top University of Technology in South Africa (URAP), as well as the top University of Technology in Africa (Webometrics). TUT offers more than 400 career options, attracting more than 60 000 students annually. Application Open and closing Date

The Tshwane University of Technology Online Registration for 2023 is open from 1 July to 30 November 2023. Therefore the college encourages prospective students to apply online via application form (Hard-Copy) early as possible for the 2023 academic year.

Documents needed to apply

Things to note before applying online to UFH:

  1. You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
  2. South African applicants will need an ID number.  Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
  3. All applicants will need to pay a non-refundable application fee of R80.
  4. You’ll need to upload your deposit slip together with the other required documents.

How to Apply TUT Online 2023-2024

  • Click here to start the application process at TUT
  • Click on ‘Apply Now on the top right corner of the screen.
  • Select whether you have a student number or not (If this is your first time applying you will not have a student number yet)
  • Select whether you are returning to complete an application
  • Select if you have a Qualification Specific Token (this token was only given to specific students to show them a pre-defined list of qualifications)
  • Click ‘I Accept’ on the consent form
  • Follow the instructions given throughout the application.
