Sol Plaatje University Application 2022 : To apply to Sol Plaatje University , you need the documents below :

1) A certified copy of the green bar coded ID

2) Proof of payment of any relevant application fees

3) Certified copy of grade 11 results and any latest grade 12 results

4.)Copy of Age exemption letter from Matric Board (if applicable – older than 23)

 Applicants must check individual further requirements for each course and each tertiary institution. Please also be aware of NBTs and check with your university if you need NBT results to apply.

FYI: South Africans learners wishing to apply online will need a working email address and an ID number. Foreign learners wishing to apply will need to have their passport number.

How Much Is Sol Plaatje University Online Application Fees?

Application Fees for Sol Plaatjie University:South African applicants are required to pay an application fee of R100. For more information, please visit the Sol Plaatje University website.

Applications for the academic year opens on Monday, 25 March and run until the end of September.

What Is Our Application Procedure?

Step 1:  Get your application form.

  • Hardcopy Application:
    This option is only available to undergraduate applicants. 

You can post your application to:

Step 2:  Complete your application form in full. 

Step 3:  Attach all supporting documents.

You need to attach certified copies of all of your documentation as well as your proof of payment of your application fee. This includes: 

  •  proof of payment of the application fee (R100)
  •  copy of your ID
  • copy of your latest Matric results
  • copy of age exemption letter from Matric Board (if applicable – older than 23)
  • You are required to have your academic transcripts and ID certified to prove to the university that those are the real documents. You can have your documents certified at any police station or anyone who holds Commander of Oaths rights (like a lawyer).

Step 4:  Complete a student accommodation form if you need to organise living arrangements.

SPU ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This part sets the minimum academic requirements for admission into study programmes at Sol Plaatje University in 2022.

The requirements are based on the results that applicants achieve in the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.

Applicants who hold certificates from a different examination system will be considered individually for admission.

Note that if you satisfy the minimum admission requirements stated here, this does not automatically mean that you will be admitted to the study programme at SPU. The final decision on your admission will be based on your academic performance and the availability of space in the programme. The better your academic performance above this minimum, the better will be your chance of being admitted to study at SPU.2022
