How many semesters does Unisa have in a year?
UniSA has seven study periods as opposed to two traditional semesters. The academic year is split into two halves, with three study periods in each half, plus a study period during summer.
Study periods 2 and 5 represent the traditional first and second semesters.
Does Unisa have full-time classes?
We offer two study modes, full-time or part-time, depending on the time you have available to commit to your studies.
A part-time study load requires a minimum of 10 to 15 hours per week to get through course content and produce your assessments. You will be enrolled in 1 course per term for this study mode.
