What are the requirements for DJ course?

Course requirements:

  • You should own or have access to Pioneer DJ Equipment, XDJ-RX, CDJ1000/DJM800 or better. NO laptop is needed, USB only!
  • Recommended software: Rekordbox (free) & Mixed In Key.

Do you need a license to be a DJ in South Africa?

If you are broadcasting or playing sound recordings in public, a SAMPRA license is required. Use the online form provided or download a membership application form.

How much does a DJ course cost in South Africa?

Course Details:

DJ Course @ R2000. (Deposit of R1000 required to start and balance of R1000 payable after four weeks). On offer is a 12 week part-time course, held from Monday to Saturday each week with our lecturers (we need to see you twice a week for a two-hour session each time).
