How many years do snow globes last?
High-quality snow globes can last for decades if properly cared for. However, lower-quality or poorly made snow globes may have a shorter lifespan.
Regularly inspect and clean your snow globe to help extend its life.
What liquid is best for snow globes?
A good ratio is 1 cup of water, 3 teaspoons glycerin, and 3 teaspoons glitter.
Glycerin can be substituted for olive oil, vegetable oil, or baby oil. Adding more oil will make the glitter fall slower.
Accidents do happen, and glass is by its nature, very breakable. If you drop your globe, save all pieces except glass shards (discard broken glass carefully).
We can often replace the glass, liquid confetti, or snow and rebuild the globe for a repair charge which will be quoted to you at that time.
