How do I permanently paint Chrome?

Evenly coat the pieces with Two-Part Epoxy Primer using your spray gun. Allow them to dry, and add a second coat. If using bottled spray paint, apply the primer as evenly as possible all around the metal part. Properly store any leftover primer by pouring it from the spray gun’s paint cup into its original container.
