University Of South Africa (UNISA)

University Of Western Cape (UWC)
UWC offers teaching under their faculty of education and faculty of Arts. The education faculty offers a bachelor’s degree in education, which takes four years to complete. On the other hand, the faculty of arts offers a Bachelor of Arts degree and a postgraduate certificate of education, which is an equivalent qualification that enables graduates to teach.

The GEMP offers an entry point into the third year of the MBBCh degree at Wits for suitably qualified graduates who want to become doctors. Years three to six of the MBBCh program cover integrated multidisciplinary and clinical courses.
How does a gemp work?
GEMP – the graduate entry medical program is an “extended” program of medicine offered at Wits. You start with obtaining a degree. Thereafter, you apply to start the medical program in its third year.
