The University of South Africa (UNISA), known colloquially as Unisa, is the largest university system in South Africa by enrollment.

How long does it take for Unisa to respond to an email?

It takes at least three(3) months to receive a response from Unisa after an applicant has successfully submitted. Make sure the contact details (cell or phone numberer and email address) you provided to Unisa during the application process are still working and active all day.

Is it hard to get accepted at Unisa?

If you are anxious to get started with your studies then don’t apply at UNISA. It is a very slow process, and only a small percentage of students are accepted.

If you apply to a different institution such as a private distance learning college then you will be assured of space and can start studying within a week.
