Tourism is travel for pleasure or business, and the commercial activity of providing and supporting the such journey.
Tourism At Nkangala TVET College
Duration: One year per NQF level.
Admission requirements:
- Grade 9 or higher
- ABET Level 4
- NQF Level 1
To obtain a National Certificate: A total of 7 subjects: 3 Fundamental and 4 Vocational subjects.
Access to the following vocational activities:
- Accommodation management;
- Conference and events planning;
- Restaurant and food services;
- Tourism development;
- Transportation management;
- Travel counseling;
- Further study at Universities of Technology;
- Game ranging and safari work.
