Are slot cars still popular
Competitive slot car racing is still alive and well today, which is perhaps most evident by the 180 public raceways still existing in the United States and Canada.
Is there skill in slot car racing?
Driver skill plays a part in slot car competitions, too.
Aside from a small guide on the underside of the car, there’s really nothing keeping the cars fixed onto the track, so some amount of driver proficiency is required to keep them from flying off in the turns.
What are the different sizes of slot cars
There are three common slot car scales (sizes): 1:24 scale, 1:32 scale, and the so-called HO size (1:87 to 1:64 scale). These are also commonly written as 1/24, 1/32, 1/87, and 1/64.
