Can a South African sell on Etsy?

Your first step is to go to www.etsy.com and select Sell on Etsy and then Open at Etsy Shop. Fill in all your details and click Register.
How much does it cost to sell on Etsy South Africa?
6.5 % Transaction fee, 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee.
How does Etsy pay you in South Africa?
Unfortunately, Direct Payments (Apple pay, Google Wallet, Credit cards, etc) are not supported in South Africa yet so in order to receive payment for Etsy sales you need to have a PayPal account.
To get the money out of PayPal you then have to use an FNB Online banking profile (more on that in the next post).
