What is a Sterilizer?
Sterilization refers to any process that removes, kills, or deactivates all forms of life and other biological agents such as prions present in or on a specific surface, object, or fluid.

How long can you leave bottles in a sterilizer?
24 hours
You can leave sterilized items in the sterilizer or pan until you need them but the majority of manufacturers advise using or re-sterilizing after 24 hours. If you do take sterilized items out, you’ll need to put the teats and lids on the bottles immediately.
Do you really need a baby bottle sterilizer?
Fortunately, you don’t have to buy a baby bottle sterilizer to keep things sanitary. If you use bottles or pacifiers, you’ll want to sterilize them before their first use and perhaps periodically thereafter, but it’s not necessary to sterilize bottles after every use.
