What is Seta?
Sector Education and Training Authority is the vocational skills training organization in South Africa. As of March 2011, there have been 21 SETAs. Each SETA is responsible for managing and creating leadership, internships, unit-based skills programs, and apprenticeships within its jurisdiction.

How many SETAs are there in South Africa?
There are a total of 21 SETAs in South Africa. Each one manages and creates leadership, skills-based programs, and internships in its sector. Every industry and job in the country is covered by one of the 21 SETAs.
Who can apply for SETA?
Employers who are up to date with the payment of their Skills Development Levies, and who have submitted their Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and an Annual Training Report (ATR) on time will be eligible to claim grants from their respective SETAs.
