How Long Can Pongracz be kept?
Store the sparkling wine in a horizontal position. The shelf life of our sparkling wines is 12 – 18 months if correctly stored.
The shelf life of our Cap Classique sparkling wines is 10 – 12 years if correctly stored. Never expose sparkling wine to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
How do you store Pongracz?
Store it in a cool dark place at around 7°C–10°C, away from natural or artificial light.
Avoid locations that experience fluctuations in temperature (e.g. kitchen, garage, shed).
Is Pongracz the same as Champagne?
MCC and Champagne are made using the same traditional French method, Methode champenoise.
The only difference between the South African MCC and Champagne is where the grapes are grown.
