What is Office Administration?

Office administration is a set of day-to-day activities that are related to the maintenance of an office building, financial planning,

record-keeping and billing, personal development, physical distribution, and logistics, within an organization.

Office Administration At Letaba TVET College

Duration: One year per NQF level.

Admission requirements:  

  • Grade 9 or higher
  • ABET Level 4
  • NQF Level 1

To obtain a National Certificate: A total of 7 subjects: 3 Fundamental and 4 Vocational subjects, of which 3 are compulsory and 1 is optional.

Access to the following vocational activities:

  • Coordinate office correspondence;
  • Type letters, reports, memoranda, agendas, and minutes;
  • Maintain equipment and stationery supplies;
  • Perform receptionist duties;
  • Coordinate and organize functions;
  • Organise meetings, staff travel itineraries, and accommodation;
  • Operate office equipment;
  • Become a call center operator.
