What is National Diploma: Educare N4 – N6?
The Educare course at Northlink College is just the study direction for you. Here you are trained as an educator who can educate the young child with love – who guides the infant, toddler, and pre-scholar through all his phases to develop into a well-balanced individual ready for the demands of society. (Please note: This qualification does not give access to teach Grade R)

Admission Requirements
THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION INTO THIS COURSE:
- Grade 12, or Level 4 National Certificate (NQF), or an NC(V) Level 4.
- Enrolment in January and July
COURSE DURATION
- 6 months for each of the certificates on a full-time basis (N4, N5, and N6). The course will be run on a distance and full-time basis (4 days of theoretical classes and 1 day of work-based experience.)
- To obtain a National N-Diploma in Educare requires a minimum of 18 months of theoretical study plus 18 months’ of work-based experience
