How does Park Run work?

How does parkrun work out my time? Register on the parkrun website and you’ll get a barcode. Print that out and bring it along (or buy a personalized wristband from parkrun) and it’ll be scanned at the end of your race and matched to your finishing token so your time is posted on the website.
