How do I use the LexisNexis database?
Select Public Records from the product selector grid in the top left corner of the page.
Click Public Records under Explore > Content on the home page. Note: Public Records opens in a new browser tab or window when you click the link from Explore.
What information can be found on LexisNexis?
It includes nationwide locator information plus other resources such as bankruptcy, liens, licenses, associates, relatives, driver’s license information, etc.
Source types are rolled up and “de-duplicated,” then compiled into an easy-to-read report.
How long does Info stay on LexisNexis?
While you cannot delete items from your History, the items are automatically and permanently removed after 90 days.
Items you printed or downloaded are available for 1 day. Any research done under Public Records appears in History but has different durations. For more information, see Public Records History.
How do I delete a LexisNexis report?
On the Tools menu, click Case Tools and then click Delete All Records in View.
In the message box to confirm the number of records being deleted, click OK.
In the message box to confirm the removal again, click Yes. All records in the current spreadsheet view are now permanently removed from the case.
