How do you make cleaning lens solutions?

Fill a spray bottle (any size will work) ¾ of the way with rubbing alcohol. Add two drops of liquid dish soap to the rubbing alcohol.

Fill the rest of the spray bottle with water and shake it gently. Do a test spray of the cleaning solution to make sure there are no bubbles in the liquid once it’s sprayed.

Can you use alcohol to clean a camera lens?

While alcohol can be used to clean camera lenses, it is not recommended as it can damage the lens coating and affect the image quality. Alcohol can also leave streaks or residue on the lens, which can be difficult to remove.

Is lens cleaner good for glasses?

Cleaner that is specifically meant for eyewear is still best! It has a little alcohol in it to remove the grossness but not enough to ruin your lenses or dry out your frame. Lens wipes are great for light cleaning, and cloth & spray is best for a deeper clean.

Is alcohol a good lens cleaner?

Rubbing alcohol, or isopropyl alcohol, should not be used to clean eyeglasses. This harsh chemical also runs the risk of damaging the lenses, their special coating, and the eyeglass frames.
