Do you need a bank account for GoFundMe?
The person receiving funds must have a bank account in the currency that the fundraiser was set up in, and meet all of the requirements listed below.
If you do not meet the requirements for any of our supported countries, please do not create a fundraiser.
How much does it cost to use GoFundMe?
There’s no fee to start or manage your fundraiser. One transaction fee R46.17 + R4.78—is automatically deducted from each donation, or a total of R254.76 in this case.
How do you accept money from GoFundMe?
When an invitation is sent to you from a GoFundMe organizer, you will receive an email titled “An invitation to accept money”.
You’ll click “accept” within the email, then you’ll be able to sign into your GoFundMe account which will allow you to set up bank transfers.
