To be an exam invigilator you must have a CRB check and most schools/colleges will give you half a day training to go through key points about invigilating .Hours can vary depending on when you have free time, how long the exams are and how many exams you can cover.The minimum amount of hours that you can do is 2, as most exams run over an hour.

The current rate (subject to change) for invigilation is R210, 20 per session for a senior invigilator and R140, 15 per session for an invigilator. Under no circumstances will invigilators be reimbursed for travel expenses.
