How To Access iCloud

What is an iCloud?

iCloud is a cloud service developed by Apple Inc. Launched on October 12, 2011, iCloud enables users to store and sync data across devices, including Apple Mail, Apple Calendar, Apple Photos, Apple Notes, contacts, settings, backups, and files, to collaborate with other users, and track assets through Find My.

How To Access iCloud

Sign in to iCloud.com

  1. Go to iCloud.com, then sign in with your Apple ID in any of the following ways:
    • In any browser: Enter your Apple ID (or another email address or phone number on file) and password.
    • In Safari: Use Face ID or Touch ID (if you’re already signed in to a device that supports these features).
    • In supported versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge: Enter your Apple ID, then click “Sign in with Passkey” to scan a QR code (if you turned on iCloud Keychain and have an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or later).
  2. If prompted, follow the onscreen instructions to verify your identity by entering a code sent to a trusted device or phone number, or by using a security key. If you lost your trusted device, you can still use Find Devices by clicking the Find Devices button.

How to view iCloud Photos on Android

  2. Go to www.icloud.com.
  3. Log in with your Apple ID.
  4. Tap the Photos icon and you’ll see all of the images stored on iCloud

How does iCloud work?

When you use iCloud, you can access your photos, files, passwords, and other data on any device you choose. Because your data is stored in the cloud and not on a single device, it stays up to date everywhere. For example, if you turn on iCloud Photos on your iPhone and Mac, you see the same photos on both devices.
