Is Moet champagne worth the money?

Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial is not a very expensive Champagne, relative to prices of some Prestige Cuvée Champagnes for example. Yet, it’s not the most affordable either. My personal opinion is that you get a good Champagne for the price you pay when you buy Moët Imperial, and you have the advantage of consistency.

Why is Moet expensive?

For Moet & Chandon, the production of its wines plays a major role in the price points. The majority of the wines from Moet are non-vintage, meaning grapes from different years take a spot in the blend. This can bring the overall price down as it is less expensive to make with a blend of years.

Does Moet expire?

They may be opened between 7 and 10 years after purchase, or even later than that. There is no benefit in keeping champagne longer than the recommended time. All the bottles of champagne that we sell have been aged in our cellars and they can be opened as soon as they are purchased.

Moet & Chandon should be served at a recommended temperature 8˚-9˚C/46˚-48˚F. The best way to achieve this is by filling up an ice bucket with one-third water and adding ice cubes to the top. Allow the bottle to chill for at least 15 minutes to achieve the recommended temperature and then serve.
