In search of a secondary font for when we have to write longer things than headlines, we looked to Johannesburg, South Africa (the vibrant city where Nando’s was born) for inspiration and found the answer in the road, adopting the same font that’s used on road signs throughout South Africa.
How Many Nandos In South Africa?
Nando’s started way back in 1987 when the first restaurant opened in Rosettenville in Johannesburg, South Africa. We’ve come a long way since then, but we’ve never forgotten our humble beginnings. So, to remind us of our roots, all our headings are tilted at an 87-degree angle across all of our designs.
What Is Special About Nandos?
there’s a reason Nando’s chicken is legendary. We marinate our chicken in PERi-PERi for 24 hours before it’s basted. All our sauces baste and marinades are made with fresh, real ingredients and have no artificial flavors or colorants.
What Makes Nandos So Successful?
Nando’s success can be attributed to its ability to create a strong brand culture and loyal customer base. Their brand story has helped build a sense of community and authenticity around the brand.
