What is High Court?
The High Court of South Africa is a superior court of law in South Africa. It is divided into nine provincial divisions, some of which sit in more than one location.
Each High Court division has general jurisdiction over a defined geographical area in which it is situated.

How long is a High court order valid for in South Africa?
Limitation period. Three years after a judgment expires, no writ of execution can be issued unless the debtor consents or unless the judgment is
revived by the court on notice to the debtor (in which case no new proof of the debt is required) (Rule 66, Uniform Rules of Court).
