Geological Science at WIT

Geology is the science that studies the Earth’s physical structure and substances, the history of rocks, the processes that act on them, and the most economic way to use the world’s resources. Geology involves methods and knowledge from biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

Entry Requirements

You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.

You must have a Secondary/High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least 4 other subjects, on average + 60%.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first or native language then you will need to complete an English Language exam, for example, an IELTS or TOEFL exam, in order to be considered for admission to a course in WIT.
