Financial management is the business function concerned with profitability, expenses, cash and credit, so that the “organization may have the means to carry out its objective as satisfactorily as possible;” the latter is often defined as maximizing the value of the firm for stockholders.
Financial Management At Majuba TVET College
This National Certificate Programme is delivered under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training and quality assured by Umalusi. The Programme consists of 18 months of theoretical studies at the College and 18 months of relevant practical training (Internship training) in the workplace.
The National Certificate: Financial Management includes the N4 – N6 Certificates that enable students to record accounting information manually and electronically. Neatness, orderliness, thoroughness, accuracy, sound judgement and a sense of responsibility are characteristics needed for this field.
