Which current transformer is more accurate?
There is the 0.15 class which is more accurate than the 0.3 class although this class is not often referenced anymore.
Lastly, the IEEE standard defines the 0.15S class which is the highest recognized accuracy class. An accuracy class means that a CT will meter current to within plus or minus that amount.
What are the types of current transformers?
Window (toroidal) Type.
Gas-Type CTs: These CTs use a gas, such as SF6, for insulation.
Oil-Filled CTs: These CTs are filled with oil and are typically used in high-voltage power systems.
