Buffalo City TVET College Minimum Entry Requirements
For entry in the national Certificate qualification at NQF Level 2, you require:
- A year end school report for Grade 9, 10, 11 or 12, or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification, or
- An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose to access NQF Level 2, or
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
DURATION OF PROGRAMMES
A National N Certificate may be obtained after completing two semesters of successful part-time study per year. The N6 Certificate is evaluated by the HSRC as equivalent to a Senior Certificate + 2 years qualification.
NATIONAL N CERTIFICATE: BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Business Management enables prospective students to start and manage their own businesses or they can be employed in many sectors of the business world as managers, assistant managers or sales persons.
PLEASE NOTE:
- External examinations are written every semester
- All subjects will be offered subject to demand
ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
Prospective students can apply at the beginning of each semester (January and July) to study Part-Time. Application forms are available at the General Office.
All new applications must be accompanied by:
- certified copy of latest school report/statement of results/Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
- certified copy of ID
- one ID size photo
- Registration Fee
Students who enrol for three subjects should submit the following documents:
- certified copy of latest school report/statement of results/Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
- 3 (three) certified copies of ID of learner
- 3 (three) certified copies ID of Parent /Legal Guardian
- 1 (one) ID size photo
- Registration Fee
NB: FEES ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL AT THE BANK AND A COPY OF THE DEPOSIT SLIP SUBMITTED FOR REGISTRATION PROCESSING
