Responsibilities:
- Client face-to-face meetings if necessary at the Office

- Underwriting Management: the daily underwriting process preparing Renewals, Sourcing acceptance terms
- Recording details and information on relevant systems
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

- Maintaining a good working relationship with insurers
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric
- Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- NQF Level 4 Certificate in Short term insurance
- Regulatory examination RE5 completed
- 3- 5 years of relevant work experience in Short term insurance – Commercial and personal lines
- Minimum 3 Years of Personal Lines Underwriting Experience
- Minimum 3 Years commercial experience
Personal Lines Underwriter – CPT
Role Purpose
Provide stakeholders with effective and efficient personal lines underwriting services according to the required standards and procedures in order to retain existing clients and secure new business in support of the business strategy.
Financial:
- Ensure new business targets are met
- Ensure Binder fee targets are met
- Ensure retention of existing clients
- Ensure and contribute to the minimization of general expenses
