What is a Coil?
An electromagnetic coil is an electrical conductor such as a wire in the shape of a coil (spiral or helix). Electromagnetic coils are used in electrical engineering, in applications where electric currents interact with magnetic fields, and in devices such as electric motors, generators, inductors, electromagnets, transformers, and sensor coils.
Either an electric current is passed through the wire of the coil to generate a magnetic field, or conversely, an external time-varying magnetic field through the interior of the coil generates an EMF (voltage) in the conductor.

What is coil processing?
Coil processing is the transformation of Steel Coil into a variety of shapes and sizes. Two main services of coil processing are Cut to length (CTL) the final products are either sheets or plates and Cut to Width (Slitting) the final product is Silted Coils.
How are coils manufactured?
Steel coils are made by taking a long strip of steel and rolling it into a coil. The coil is then passed through a series of rollers that gradually decrease the thickness of the steel strip. The final product is a thin, flat sheet of steel that can be used in a variety of applications.
