Chemical engineering is an engineering field that deals with the study of the operation and design of chemical plants as well as methods of improving production. Chemical engineers develop economical commercial processes to convert raw materials into useful products.

Chemical Engineering At Majuba TVET College

This National Certificate Programme is delivered under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training and quality assured by Umalusi. The Programme consists of 18 to 24 months of theoretical studies at the College and 24 months of relevant practical training (Internship training) in the workplace.

The National Certificate: Chemical Engineering includes the N1 – N6 Certificates that enable students to enter the Water and Waste Water Treatment field of Chemical Engineering studies.
