Which type of pots are best for plants?
Our advice is to go porous. Porous ceramics like terracotta will dry more evenly than plastic pots, and any wood planter will dry even faster than terracotta. Ceramic planters also are great choices.
Why do they sell plant pots without holes?
Drainage holes allow excess water to escape — so if you add too much water at one time, it seeps out the holes, and you can empty out the drip tray so the plant doesn’t drown. But if you’re careful and don’t get into a situation where you’re not adding too much water at any one time, then the holes aren’t necessary.
Which color for plant pots?
Brown and beige are more neutral, earthy tones that can be paired with almost any other interior or exterior design elements. As they are the same color as the soil and bark inside the pot, they become a significant extension of the plant itself.
