BMil in Human and Organisation Development at University of Stellenbosch

This programme focuses on the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to function effectively in the fields of Human and Organisational Development. It is intended for career Support Branch officers but also designated Combat Branch Officers.

Minimum Requirement

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with at least 50% in each of four school subjects
• English OR Afrikaans 50%.

Admission requirements

For admission to the University you need:
• A National Senior Certificate or school-leaving certificate from the Independent Examination Board as certified by Umalusi with admission to bachelor’s degree studies; or
• A university exemption certificate issued by the South African Matriculation Board to students with other school qualifications.
Admission to bachelor’s degree studies requires that you obtain a mark of at least 4 (50-59%) in each of four designated university admission subjects.

What is BMIL in Organisation and resource management?

A BMil degree in Organisation and Resource Management, or any other degree which has been approved for this purpose, in which a minimum final mark of 60% has been achieved in two of the following majors, namely Military Management, Economics, Management Accounting and Public and Development Management.

What are the five stages of organizational development?

Five growth stages are observable: birth, growth, maturity, decline, and revival.

They traced changes in the organizational structure and managerial processes as the business proceeds through the growth stages.
