What is the best way to use Eye Drops
Tilt your head back and look up. With 1 hand, pull your lower eyelid down and away from your eyeball — this makes a “pocket” for the drops.
With the other hand, hold the eye drop bottle upside down with the tip just above the pocket. Squeeze the prescribed number of eye drops into the pocket.
How long do you leave eye drops in?
Studies have shown that it takes 2 full minutes for the drop to completely penetrate the surface of the eye to get inside.
Put the cap back on the bottle, with your eyes still closed.
