Apply To Study At AFDA
AFDA online Application 2021 : To apply to the University of Cape Town , you need the documents below :
1) A certified copy of the green bar coded ID
2) Proof of payment of any relevant application fees
3) Certified copy of grade 11 results and any latest grade 12 results

FYI: South Africans learners wishing to apply online will need a working email address and an ID number. Foreign learners wishing to apply will need to have their passport number.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Apply for your chosen course at your preferred AFDA campus.
Once you have submitted the application form:
1. Arrange to visit the campus for a consultation
2. Wait to receive your acceptance letter and then continue to registration
REGISTER NOW
Pay the registration fee to secure your place.
You will have received an acceptance letter providing you with your new AFDA student number.
Have this as well as the details you need to make a payment (online payments and EFT accepted).
ENROL NOW
Before classes start, make it official by completing enrolment.
Make sure that you are aware of the stipulated enrolment window for your course.
This is the final step before beginning your studies at AFDA.
AFDA Entry Requirements
Higher Certificate
ENTRY INTO FIRST YEAR
- National Senior Certificate (South African Grade 12 / Matric) with entry into a Bachelor’s degree
- Should you not have the above, you may be able to qualify to complete and pass the AFDA Entrance Exam
Undergraduate Bachelors Degree (BA / BCOM)
ENTRY INTO FIRST YEAR
- National Senior Certificate (South African Grade 12 / Matric) with entry into a Diploma or Higher Certificate
- You may enter an AFDA degree if you have successfully completed the AFDA Higher Certificate course
- The National Skills Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV) on NQF level 4 with 3 fundamental subjects (incl English) above 60% and 4 vocational subjects above 70%
- A technical N5 certificate with 4 subjects passed on N5 level incl Maths and English
- The ACE School of Tomorrow (Accelerated Christian Education) on an achievement level similar to matric exemption
- If you don’t have matric exemption but have passed the first year of an accredited programme on NQF 6 or 7 (first year of a diploma or degree)
- Should you not have any of the above, you may be able to qualify to complete and pass the AFDA Entrance Exam
- If you do not have matric exemption, but are 23 years or older, you can apply for exemption to study a degree at AFDA with HESA
- Alternatively you can take the Entrance Exam

Please complete online registration form before proceeding to paying your registration fee
Payment Registration
You will have received an acceptance letter which includes the details on registering to secure your place in your chosen course. It also outlines your terms of acceptance into that course.
We don’t set a registration deadline, but when our courses fill up with registered students there is a waiting list for applicants still wanting to enrol into the course.
