The Advanced Diploma in Education (ADE) is a NQF level 7 qualification designed and developed to fulfill a recognized need of providing a well-rounded, broad education that equips in-service teachers with the subject content knowledge base, pedagogical theory, and methodology that will enable them to demonstrate.
The term ‘natural sciences’ would thus denote the sciences concerned. directly with nature, whereas technology – in accordance with the Greek. techne1 – would have to do with objects produced artificially by man.

Qualification admission requirements
Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
A four-year Bachelor of Education degree (specializing in the related school teaching subject field),
or
a diploma in the related field, plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, or a Higher Diploma in Education,
or
an Advanced Certificate in Education or a Further Diploma in Education that follows a professional teaching qualification, or a four-year Higher Diploma in Education (in the related school teaching subject field).
Applicants who do not comply with the above requirements should consider applying for a lower level qualification for which they meet the statutory and additional requirements.
