How To Avoid Cysts

Cysts are closed sacs filled with fluid, air, or other material that can develop under the skin or in organs. While many are harmless and not fully preventable (especially those caused by genetics or hormonal changes), you can take steps to reduce your risk of developing common types of cysts, especially skin, ovarian, and sebaceous cysts.

🧼 1. Keep Your Skin Clean and Unclogged

  • Wash your face and body regularly with a gentle cleanser.
  • Exfoliate 1–2 times a week to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores.
  • Avoid heavy, pore-clogging cosmetics or skincare products.
