How To Share Wifi Password On iPhone in South Africa?
Step 1: Ensure Both Devices Meet the Requirements
Make sure that your iPhone and the device you want to share the WiFi password with are both running on iOS 11 or a later version. This feature is available on iPhone 5s and newer models.
Step 2: Connect to the WiFi Network
On your iPhone, go to “Settings” and tap on “Wi-Fi.” Connect to the WiFi network you want to share the password for. Ensure that you are already connected to the network before proceeding to the next step.
Step 3: Share the WiFi Password
Now, on the device you want to share the password with, make sure it is unlocked and within close proximity to your iPhone. A pop-up notification will appear on the device, displaying the WiFi network name and a “Share Password” option. Tap on “Share Password.”
Step 4: Authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
To proceed with sharing the password, your iPhone will prompt you to authenticate using Face ID or Touch ID. Simply look at your iPhone’s screen or place your finger on the Home button to verify your identity.
Step 5: Connection Established!
Once you’ve successfully authenticated, your iPhone will automatically share the WiFi password with the other device. It will connect to the network without the need to manually enter the password. iPhones connected on your WiFi network can also cast their iPhone screens to Smart TVs on the same network.
