Mica sheets come in two mineral types of mica, Muscovite and Phlogopite. We can deliver both in rigid or flexible sheets, depending on what you intend to use them for.
What is the standard thickness of a mica sheet?
Flexible mica sheets come in thicknesses between 0.10 and 2mm, depending on the grade you require. There are two grades of flexible mica sheet:
MF SSP – phlogopite mica; and. MF SSM – muscovite mica.
What are the properties of mica sheets?
Mica sheets have thermal stability at high temperatures, amazing dielectric strength, chemical inertness, elasticity, lightweight, and good reflective & refractive properties.
However, the properties of mica sheets also vary based on the type of mica used to manufacture the sheets.
