Is hair wax a gel?
The difference is based mostly on the compound of these products. Hair gels are usually water-based and contain polymers, and hair waxes are made of natural wax or synthetic analogs. Another one difference is that hair gel can be applied on damp to dry hair, and hair wax is recommended to be applied only to dry hair.
How long does gel wax last?
to 40 hours
Gel wax melts last up to 40 hours which is longer than traditional wax. This is because gel wax has a higher melting point than other types of wax, such as paraffin or soy, meaning they will burn for longer. In fact, they last twice as long as paraffin wax, making them great value for money.
