Currently, the maximum permissible compensation allowable in South Africa under the National Guidelines from the South African Society for Reproductive Medicine (SASREG), is R8000 per donation cycle.

How many times can you donate eggs in South Africa?

Egg donors will get paid between R8000 and R10000 each time they donate. Donors can donate a maximum of 6 times, or a maximum of 6 babies may be born from their donation.
