What is a Fabric Printing Machine?
Textile printing is the process of applying color to fabric in definite patterns or designs. In properly printed fabrics the color is bonded with the fiber, so as to resist washing and friction.

How do factories print on fabric?
Screen-printing
Screen printing is by far the most common technology today. Two types exist: rotary screen printing and flat (bed) screen printing. A blade (squeegee) squeezes the printing paste through openings in the screen onto the fabric.
How do I permanently print on fabric?
You can pre-treat your fabric yourself to make the prints permanent using Bubble Jet-set, which is a liquid solution that you use to soak your fabric prior to printing.
This pre-treatment will make your fabric prints permanent and washable. Once pre-treated, then adhere the fabric to a piece of freezer paper.
Does printed fabric fade?
Since pigment ink-printed fabrics are prone to fading in washing, the low temperature can help keep the fabric in good condition for longer.
It’s worth noting that high temperature influences not only to the print but to the structure of the fabric as well.
How many years does fabric last?
Textiles can take up to 200+ years to decompose in landfills (see other decomposition times here)
Which fabric lasts the longest?
Due to its ultra-fine fibers, synthetic microfibre is the fabric that lasts the longest at this time. Its fibres are tightly woven which creates a strong layer of protection. Synthetic microfibre is efficient in withstanding dirt, dust, and spills. Canvas somewhat has the same qualities as microfiber.
How long does 100% cotton fabric last?
Biodegradability of Natural Fibers
Like anything designed by nature, natural fibers slowly disappear back into the earth at the end of their life. A T-Shirt made from 100% cotton will decompose within a few months, and pure linen can biodegrade in as little as two weeks, while some natural fibers may take a bit longer.
