Sending a transaction is easy:

First, select who you want to send money to. Input how much you want to send and confirm – you’ll see a little pop-up message detailing exactly how much you’ll pay, including fees, and how much your recipient will get. You can also add a promo code here if you have one.

Setting up notifications is easier and quicker than making a cup of tea. In fact, you could do it all while you’re waiting for the water to boil.

Once you’ve logged into your account using your pin or FaceID, all you need to do is:

  1. Tap on Account in the bottom right-hand corner
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Then Notifications
  4. Tap on ‘Add’ next to ‘Exchange Rates
  5. Select which country you’d like notifications for.
  6. There is no number six – you’re already done! Repeat the above as many times as you want for any country you’d like updates for.

How to manage your account

Here we’ll take you through some of the ways you can manage your WorldRemit account in the app.

Once you tap on Account on the bottom right-hand side, you’ll see a menu where you can edit your details, settings, and recipient details.

To edit anything in My details, we’ll need to text a verification code to the phone number you’ve provided. Once you’ve entered this code, you can make changes to your email address, phone number, and address.

If you need to make changes to your legal name or date of birth, tap the Help and Support option in the Account menu. Go to Update account details and choose the relevant option. Then simply follow the on-screen steps to submit your change. Our team will then process your request as soon as possible.

In Settings, you can make changes to your password, PIN, and notification preferences, and manage what payment cards you have connected to your account.
