Safety In Society NC (V) Level 2-4 At South West Gauteng TVET

This program consists of four vocational subjects namely Policing Practices, South African Criminal Law, Governance, and Criminal Justice Systems.

Each student will be taught on a theoretical basis what role each subject fulfills in terms of who and where acts are formulated, who impacts and enforces these roles in communities, what the consequences of violating the law are, and how different departments function to maintain the process within a democratic system.

Once you have completed level 4 you would have the option to study further full-time toward a National N Diploma in Report 191 or apply for a National Diploma at a University of Technology full-time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR LEVEL 2

Grade 9 with a minimum pass with:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Life Orientation
  • Any other 4 Subjects
  • Obtain a minimum of 40% for Numeracy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
  • Obtain a minimum of 40% for Literacy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
