What type of pump is a warman?
Warman® AH® horizontal centrifugal pumps contain a ductile-iron outer casing, high-chrome white-iron impeller, and high-chrome white-iron or elastomer wear liners.
Warman® WBH® heavy-duty abrasive slurry pumps contain a ductile-iron outer casing with interchangeable elastomer or white-iron liners and impeller.
How does a warman pump work?
As long as the pump is running above a minimum speed, the expeller hydraulically seals the shaft by rotating with the impeller, generating a differential pressure gradient that forces the slurry away from the shaft seal and back towards the main volute cavity.
