The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) is an institute for higher learning. It has emerged from its founding organization, IDC Technologies, which is an international provider of practical, technical training.
The fields of training endeavor cover Electrical Systems, Electronics, Industrial Data and Radio Communications and Networking, Instrumentation, Automation and Process Control, Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, and Project and Financial Management.

Is EIT recognized in South Africa?
South African students who successfully complete an EIT qualification have the option to apply for recognition within the education system by SAQA.
On application by past graduates, SAQA has previously assessed the EIT Advanced Diploma as a “foreign qualification” at Level 6 (the same level that it is in Australia).
