What documents are needed for SARS?
A copy of your valid identity document or driver’s license or passport or temporary identity document or asylum seekers certificate/permit, together with the original identification (for those visiting a SARS office). A copy of your proof of residential address.
How long does it take to get a response from SARS?
SARS will provide the taxpayer with at least 21 business days to respond to the Audit Findings Letter. Conclude an audit within 90 business days from the date all required relevant material is received.
